Tampa, Florida features a number of malls and retail centers where you can satisfy your incurable need for shopping. One of the more well-known shopping centers is the International Plaza and Bay Street, a high-end mall that houses upscale boutiques, cafes, and dining spots. It first opened in 2001 and was designed to accommodate travelers who don't want to venture too far from the airport but still want to engage in some retail therapy.
Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Dillard's, and Robb & Stucky Interiors are the anchor stores of this upscale Tampa shopping mall while some of the retail shops include Deisel, Abercrombie & Fitch, Tiffany & Co., The Apple Store, Oakley, Z Gallerie, Coach, and Bose. Some of the restaurants in the International Plaza and Bay Street are The Capital Grille, The Cheesecake Factory, Piazza Roma, Earl of Sandwich, and TooJays Gourmet Deli.
WestShore Plaza, opened in 1967, is said to be the first air conditioned shopping mall in Tampa. It features more affordable finds compared with International Plaza but it still houses a number of high-end brands such as Ann Taylor and Lindt & Sprüngli. Its anchor stores are Macy's, Sears, JCPenney, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Also in WestShore Plaza are The Palm, a steakhouse chain, and Mitchell's Fish Market Restaurant and Bar.
